We want to preserve the experience of camping that is both close to nature and modern. Thinking about the environment and the quality of what we offer has always been high on the list of GITZ values. Both aspects are constantly being monitored, as has been confirmed by numerous awards.
We work according to ECOCAMPING's environmental management guidelines and have committed ourselves long-term to the highest quality performance with certification as a ServiceQualität Deutschland company.
Relax and make use of the many different cycling paths all around the GITZ and bring your bike with you. As an alternative, you can hire a bike at the GITZ. This means all pedal-lovers can discover and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the enchanting Allgäu - Lake Constance region – especially with the electric hired bike.
Our cyclists' guide, the "Radel-Gitz," contains suggestions for tours. Like our brochures for walking and inline skating tours, it is available at reception.
At the GITZ, dogs are welcome - but dog nuisance prohibited
Keep your dog on a lead. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in the vehicle and on the pitch and car park. Please take your dog out outside the Gitzenweiler Hof, including the outlying areas. We would ask you to clear up any little "accidents" at once and without waiting to be asked.

Feed and pet the animals every morning - except on Saturdays.
