Your route to the Gitz

Your route to the Gitz -
By car:
If you are coming by car on the A 96 from the direction of Munich or on the A 14 from Austria, take the Weißensberg exit and drive in the direction of Lindau. After the village of Rothkreuz, follow the signs.
From the Bundesstraße B31a, take the Lindau exit and then turn off onto the B12 in the direction of Wangen. From here onwards you  can follow the blue camp site signs for 'Gitzenweiler Hof.'
By train:
You will arrive directly on the holiday island of Lindau. From there, take the municipal bus number 1 or 2 to the bus changing point and then take the number 4; in about 40 minutes you will be at the Rehlings stop. From there you need to walk about another 10 minutes to arrive at the Gitz.
By boat:
Enjoy beautiful Lake Constance and the neighbouring Alps on your way to your holiday. After arriving at Lindau Harbour, take the municipal bus.
By plane:
Friedrichshafen Airport is only 20 km to the west of the Campingpark. From Friedrichshafen you can hire a car and drive along the B31a in the direction of Lindau or take the rail connection directly from the airport to Lindau - Insel (main railway station).

IMPORTANT:
The barrier will remain closed during the midday rest period from 12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m. and at night from 10.00 p.m. to 7.00 a.m..
There is a car park available outside the barrier and a car park meadow opposite.
Access is always possible for ambulances, emergency doctors and the fire brigade.
