Our Campingpark Gitzenweiler Hof is situated in the beautiful region around Lake Constance. The natural features of the site, such as expanses of water, orchards, the hilly landscape, the surrounding woodland, animals and much more really show off the natural world to best advantage

ECOCAMPING has made us even more aware that the smallest act can have regional and indeed global consequences and can also have a positive effect on the quality of life.
So we feel committed to a constant improvement of conservation and environmental protection, to act, to live and to do business in an environmentally conscious manner.
We set ourselves the following targets:- Complying with environmental protection legislation and provisions
- Increasing environmental awareness by regularly informing staff and guests on campaign days
- Reducing non-recyclable waste and actively avoiding waste by means of education
- Better sorting of waste by clear signing and environmental protection information for campers
- Reducing car traffic by not using cars on the site itself or during the rest period
- Reducing car traffic outside the site by using a special bus in the summer, and also by linking to the municipal bus system
- Using environmentally friendly or recyclable materials
- Reducing land use by not sealing the ground and using building styles with smaller ground areas
- Ecological building
- Minimisation of energy consumption
- Composting, mulching of the lawn areas etc
