You can pack plenty into a holiday in our region. The Camping Park is the ideal starting point for interesting day trips on foot, by bike, by car, by bus, by cable car and by boat across Lake Constance.

Right up into the Allgäu or into the nearby Alpine countries of Switzerland and Austria, there are castles, palaces and museums, unspoiled nature, the Flower Island of Mainau , the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, the Pfänder cable car railway and Bregenz Festival to attract you. Theme parks for children, such as the Ravensburger Spieleland, Lufti Kinder-Spiele-Welt (indoors) and Legoland Günzburg provide family fun. A visit to the Zeppelin Museum has a special charm, but all around the GITZ you can see the delights of this unusual countryside with its many unique and fascinating sights.

The Lindau region has been shaped by apple, wine and hop cultivation, and according to the season your can buy the fresh and fruity, sparkling and zesty, or typically Bavarian, malty produce of these harvests.

Lindau Harbour
The well-known harbour, still today considered the most beautiful on Lake Constance, was completed in 1856. The 6m high monument with the lion looking out over the lake is the work of the sculptor Johann von Halbig. Together with the 33 m lighthouse, this Bavarian heraldic symbol flanks the entrance to the harbour. Thousands of lights create an enchanting atmosphere around the harbour in the evening.
