During the main season, guests are welcome to take part in the extensive range of organised activities or enjoy the facilities independently:

The site's own open-air swimming pool (25 x 33 m) is inviting for swimmers and sun-bathers, the angling pond attracts fishing enthusiasts and for the little ones, there's the children's playground for running around. Outside the main season, the Gitzenweiler Hof has attractive special promotions – value-priced camping holiday tasters.

The nature playground with its bonfire and barbecue facilities, the open-air swimming pool, the football area, the beach volleyball court, the street basketball court, the table tennis facilities and the adventure playground all offer opportunities for fun and games.

Angling at the carp pond (an angling licence is required) and bread from the wood-fired oven round off the range of leisure offers for all those young at heart.

The Kneipp hydrotherapy season at the Gitz runs from April to October. Woodland Kneipp hydrotherapy in the wild brook at the GITZ for young and old.

Cycling at the Gitz - the Gitzenweiler Hof has drawn up a special cycling map for:  

• Tours from the Gitz to Lindau.
• 11 different options to combine.
• Day tours of 30 - 50 km
• 6 trips through the surrounding countryside - Lake Constance and the country around Lindau, including the Allgäu.
• You are welcome to hire a bike at reception for a fee of € 8.00/day.

At the Gitz, you can book individual courses and outings directly: balloon trips, taster diving courses and diving in Lake Constance, pony trekking and riding lessons, inline skating courses, Nordic walking, surfing courses, canoeing courses and canoeing trips, as well as coach tours around Lake Constance.
Tennis, golf, ski courses and ice skating in the immediate vicinity.
